Silk Top Hat, Paris (1890–1920) Size 57/58

Superb antique top hat in sequined silk, stamped “Superfine Quality – Qualité Élégance – Paris”. Authentic piece from the Belle Époque, made in Paris around 1890–1920. Cardboard frame covered in shiny silk, grosgrain ribbon, moiré silk interior with cord and cockade. Internal size approx. 19.5 × 16 cm (equivalent to 57/58), height 15.5 cm. Good general condition with signs of use consistent with age (see photos). Identified by auctioneer, kept in a bag marked RTF (Radiodiffusion Télévision Française), additional historical curiosity. Ideal for collectors, decorators or costume designers.
